Since my friend and I just planned to go there for shopping, we did not do much sightseeing during the trip.
On the 1st day, we arrived at our hotel at 3pm. After we checked-in, we did not step into our room though. We passed our luggages to the counter, and directly to do our 1st shopping at MBK. We shopped almost 6 hours on that day! MBK is the place to buy shoes, clothes, bags..... A lot of shoes shop there. I bought 2 pairs of shoes and some skincare products on that day.
Look at this above picture, we saw a lot students wear short skirt, fit shirt and high heel shoes. Guess what? They actually are tertiary students.
Siam Paragon, a elegant shopping centre in Bangkok city.
Just in front of the centre...
On the 2nd day, it was a raining day. The perfect activity for rainly day is indoor, right? :) Of course we would not waste our time to stay in. That day, we decided to go to Pratunam market & Platinum Shopping Centre. Since we walked too much on the 1st day, our legs was started 'complaining'. Only 1 hour we shopped, we just could not continue. So we decided to do our 1st foot message at Pratunam. It costs us 200 Baht per hour.
You can get a lot of bargain clothings & accessories in Pratunam market, even message. We bought few pieces of working shirts, the quality as good as the shirts of high street brand in M'sia.
Platinum Shopping Centre is a clothing & accesories wholeseller centre. If you want to get bargain price, please buy more than 3 pcs from the shop (mix & match is available). We bought 6 bags from there, total cost us 4k+ bhat.
On the 3rd day, we joined a short trip to River Kwae, to visit Death of Railway which built during World War II. (Pictures will be shown in next blog)
At the night, we met another friend at Central World. We spent a little bit time at famous Erawan 四面佛 which just at the corner of Central World shopping centre. Afterward, we had our dinner at Central World. It was the bad meal ever we had in Bangkok. The food was so salty, too sour, too spicy.
We did our 2nd foot message at Pratunam again. This time was cost us 180 baht per hour.
After the 2 hours message, it was 12 midnight. my friend and I took a taxi back to hotel after say goodbye to our friend. It was the nightmare for us.
